“Listen to the Plants” is a project that collects and recounts personal stories of communicating and healing with plants. The stories are written in a whimsical yet simple and fable-like manner, with accompanying illustrations by Maaike Haneveld.

Artemisia Elixir Bar
As a two year long project, Artemisia Elixir Bar (Sharden Grimm, Birgitta Allen, and I) served playful, medicinal elixirs at pop-up events across the Pacific Northwest featuring regional and ancestral plant medicine. Artemisia Elixir Bar brought a performative flair to every elixir bar pop-up, incorporating herbal education and consultation along with storytelling and medicine tales. Our aim was to create safe, sacred and fun spaces for people to connect with the plants that are seeking them and to remind people of the ancient, nourishing remedies of the Earth. We believe that herbalism is the medicine of the people, and we seek to empower individuals with the knowledge that with the support of plant medicine, they can heal themselves. Hearth
Hearth is a place of acceptance. For healing. For deep rest and relaxation. For honoring silence. For sensitive souls and empaths. For reconnection to oneself and to nature and accessing the deep wisdom in both. A place for moving gracefully between solitude and community, for finding a private nook to curl up and read a book, or to find connection with others around a fire. More on this project coming soon.
